REMINDER: Location Change
Please be aware that I am now operating out of 156 Sherbrook. The new location is accessible through the rear entrance (off the back lane/parking lot), behind Elan Hair Studio at the corner of Sherbrook and Sara.
I am renting space inside iEmZen Massage Therapy (follow their signs to find the entrance), but all other business operations will remain separate. The door to the clinic will be locked while treatments are in session so please only arrive 5-10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.
PLEASE NOTE:
- I am an RMT, which means that my services are eligible for coverage under private health insurance plans. I am able to direct bill to most insurance plans through the Telus Health portal, MB Blue Cross, Greenshield and Sunlife, but it will be your responsibility to find out ahead of time if your specific plan covers massage therapy.
- A credit card is required in order to hold your appointment. It will ONLY be charged if you do not provide the minimum 24 hours notice. Otherwise, all payment will be done in person.
- If you are feeling unwell on the day of your appointment, you will be required to wear a mask for the duration of your visit. We've learned valuable infection control skills during the pandemic - lets continue to use them and keep eachother safe from all avoidable illness.
- The online platform functions best around 60 minute bookings. When booking appointments shorter or longer than 60 minutes, there is a greater likelihood that your appointment start time will need to be shifted. This allows me to optimize my schedule so that time is not wasted between clients. If that needs to happen, you will receive an email notifying you of the change and will have the opportunity to refuse the booking at its new time. (Please make sure to check your junk/spam folders).
CANCELLATION POLICY
Nobody likes to pay for something they didn't receive. I get it. But your relaxation time is my work time. As a solo practitioner, full-time student, and single homeowner, every dollar matters. Last-minute cancellations or no-shows take away time that someone else could have booked—and the income I rely on. The cancellation fee isn’t punishment; it’s how I stay fairly compensated and keep providing the care you’ve come to expect.
Having said that, please note that 24 hours notice is required to cancel or change your appointment without penalty.
Any cancellation which is done with less than 24 hours notice will be charged 50% of the booked treatment cost.
If you cancel within 2 hours of your booked time, or simply do not show up to your appointment, you will be charged the full cost of your booked treatment.
Important Note: Cancellation fee's are NOT covered by insurance, so you will NOT be provided with a treatment receipt.
IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT WITH ME:
All booked appointments will immediately recieve an email with confirmation of booking followed by another email asking you to complete an intake form. You will also receive a reminder email 48 hours in advance, and a text message reminder 24 hours in advance, before every appointment
If you do not receive a confirmation email then either 1) you didn't complete the booking process, or 2) the email has ended up in your junk/spam folder. Please make sure to complete the initial intake form as soon as possible so that I can confirm you are getting notifications as you should.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow for adequate assessment.
